Transforming Anger into Love |
Eisov has come to Yaacov Avinu with murderous intent. Yet, Yaacov Avinu reaches Eisov's heart
to the extent that Eisov kisses him lovingly. How did our forefather Yaacov achieve this transformation
in his brother? Why did he bow to Eisov? Surely , Yaacov, having just defeated Eisov's malach, was not
afraid of Eisov. And why did he bow seven times? What is the significance here of the number seven?

Lessons from the feminine parts of the Mishkan |
The Torah lists two sets of instructions for the building of the Mishkan,
one given to Moses and a second given to Bezalel. Each set lists elements that were used to bind together
the various components of the Tabernacle. Bezalel's version uses a fairly common form of speech for the bindings.
However, Moses' blueprint contains very flowery, unusual, feminine language. What do we learn from
this difference, in terms of the role of feminine forces in binding us to Hashem and to each other?
